Terms

Effective October 9, 2026.

These terms apply to everyone who uses this site. If you do not agree with them, please do not use it.

Who provides the site

The site is provided by Alim Khairetdinov.

What the site is

The site offers free calculators and short guides for estimating materials for home projects. You do not need an account and nothing is sold here.

Estimates only

Every result is an estimate worked out from the measurements you enter and from published reference values. Real materials vary. A bag, a supplier or a site condition can differ from the values used. Check quantities with your supplier before you buy, and see the disclaimer.

The site does not give engineering, structural, building-code or other professional advice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the measurements you enter, for checking the result and for what you do with it, including what you order and how you build.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep the formulas and reference values correct and we publish their sources on the methodology page, but we do not promise that the site is free of errors, always available or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, the provider of this site is not liable for loss or damage that comes from using it or relying on its results. That includes material bought in the wrong quantity, extra cost, delay and damage to property.

Content

The text and design of the site belong to Alim Khairetdinov. You may link to any page and share result links freely. Please do not republish the content as your own.

Links to other sites

Pages link to manufacturers, agencies and universities as sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.
